50cc ATV for a child 8 years, Cheetah Prowler and Honda? I'm looking to buy a 50cc ATV for my daughter and can not decide between the Cheetah Prowler and Honda? Any recommendations?
There are a lot of shit not the name out there today, however, if you compare a Honda to a Cheetah you're pretty much dealing with apples and apples.
Cheetah has a good reputation and the quality is there for you to consider other factors. They both have a 1 year warranty. Both have national service. Both parts of their butts ATV.
However, Honda ATV had four points in the last 3 years, Cheetah Motorsports has had none. More importantly Honda does not 50cc ATV Quad. They start at 90cc.
After all these factors what you're really left is price. The Cheetah Prowler is about $ 500-600 and a used Honda (4 years) will cost $ 1200 - $ 1500 and a new would cost $ 2.749.
I do not think it is question of the Prowler is the way to go, especially for a child of 8 years.
I have a Cheetah Cruiser (scooter) and my husband has a Predator Cheetah. We have no problems with any of them. We sold a banshee about 3 years ago and I bought two Cheetahs. I could not imagine spending that much money on a Honda. I would go with the Cheetah.
Nephew of 9 years had a Prowler for about 2 half years and he loves to death. He abused as if there was no tomorrow and it works like a champ. If I had to pick one, I would go with Prowler.
You can buy as Cheetah Prowler 4 for the cost of 1 Honda.
Dude no question Cheetah Prowler
I've never owned a Cheetah, but I have a '92 Honda and it still works well.
