Which scooter is better, a real Stella or Chetak Argo? I'm looking for a scooter as my primary vehicle route. Both look good but do not know which is better.
Do you mean Chetak Argo? Originally built in India by Bajaj. Now, under the ARGO U.S. .. The Chetak was a close copy of the Vespa P-series. They are no longer produced. Why the parts are becoming scarce? I never heard anything bad about them. I know guys who owns one. minor repairs, thats about it. One good thing about Chetak if you concerned about the emissions (or going green). He had 150cc 4stroke engine oppose the Stella has an EPA approved 2-stroke engine. I have a friend who owns a Stella. No complaints from him.
My advice, choose one you can get service and parts for it, easily.
And you're comfortable.
Stella by a long, long shot.
Chetak scooter is a South Korean knockoff, finding parts for them is terribly difficult, and finding someone who is willing or able to work on them is impossible.
Stella is a REPOP the latest Vespas old ... They are very simple and scooters scooter shop half-*** can work on them.
If you plan to use a newspaper, get the Stella, it's worth the price difference.
