Has anybody heard of Brenderup horse trailers? I need a horse trailer, but only a Honda Odyssey and Toyota Highlander and cannot afford a truck. Are they good? What is the average price? Do you think my car it works? Thank you!
In my opinion, you're just in trouble trying to tow a trailer of any kind with the two vehicles you have. You really need a truck towing any kind of a heavy load. That is what they are made for. The cars are only good for a short distance with a lighter trailer. (Think very low UHAUL). I do not think you can transport your horse safely with a car or your car does not last very long in these conditions. You may want to think about them for trading on a truck. Good Luck
Yes they work. You should compare your horse (s) and look in your cars manual installation and watch the maximum weight it can hold! Also weigh the trailer when you get it.
Brenderup trailers have a great reputation. I think they are very well made. But they are not cheap!
Even with a Brenderup you need to seriously consider the weight and length of wheel base before deciding whether it is safe to remove your horse with your car. Talk to someone who has experienced with horse trailers.
Good luck!
