Dune Buggy Paddle Tires

Posted on April 18, 2010.
Dune Buggy Paddle TiresWhat is the name of this movie?

I remember the film mid 70s. It was a family taking a vacation in the desert in a van or motor home. Once there, and installation, they have been harassed to the breaking point by a band of hippies jumping dunes. One in particular has the stroller with these cool rail giant paddle tires on the back axel. I do not remember the stars but it may have included William (Bill) Smith as one of the wicked (huge biceps). Does anyone know / remember this movie? (Think it was made for television and not in the rooms.)

I bet it's The Hills Have Eyes 1977 (original is always better)

No, The Hills Have Eyes is certainly not the movie I was looking for. The one I asked about was made for television and not as violent as Hills ... Flag

I finally found the right answer! The film was called "Terror on the Beach" and starred Dennis Weaver and Estelle Parsons. You can read the Synopsis here ... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt00 Flag

reminds me of the hills have eyes. but do not think that's it. it could be.

I remember Seengen a movie with this plot.

Could it be ......

"Hot Rods to Hell"? 1967

www.imdb.com verify that the title and William Smith films
