Where can I get my dune buggy race on the East Coast? Is there anywhere on the East Coast that I can run or just take my All Terrain Dune Buggy? Preferably in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware area?
I suppose that the dune buggy is not street legal?
I always try to find places to go off road with my 4x4 in New York and New Jersey, most often without much luck. However, a resource that I found useful are the DeLorme maps gazetteer. I have one for New York and New Jersey. They must be studied carefully to find the roads that are marked as needed 4x4, and sometimes you'll get to the track and find it closed. However, I found some good tracks in New York, especially in and around Catskills. For example, around the Neversink Reservoir, there are many paths that I found.
