Go Kart California

I live in Sacramento, California and I built a go-kart for my school project and I need to test to make sure it works. I do not want to race, just there for a good ride.
Ideas?

Bordon: I guess you can go around your kart. I suggest, however, a wasteland. As you are far from roads or busy roads you sang well. The street you are near. If this is not a street and a road or busy street would be good. do not know how fast your go-kart. But I would not drive fast as a real crazy ok?
