Thunder, Inc. of Gilbert, Az threat Buggynews.com Administration and others who Certificaiton Carb Question Recently, there has been a very hot topic on forums www.buggynews.com on EPA and CARB certification of some 800cc and 1.6L off road vehicles currently sold in the state of California. The wire in question is the following link (note there is much debate here, and it is quite heated at times):

In reply to this thread and issues related to EPA and CARB certification of certain off-road buggies Joyner, John Burns, owner of Thunder Motorsports (Thunder, Inc.) http://www.thunderinc.com chose to send a message to a distributor network as follows:
"Excutive Orders are not transferable to another application. The excutive order is issued on request with the system and fuel system exhuast that will be used. It is also EPA regs as well so if they want to keep this up we turn too. We (Thunder) have all certificates of the EPA allows us to import and distribute to all States. We did this over to our attorney for further action. Our office is in Scottsdale Az Tournament Sacks Goldstein Steve 480-425 - 2600. We now seek to claim against Super Karts, we bike, buggy and new owners and some rights. We contacted the EPA and federal prosecutor in the CA to continue refilling a prescription against the parties not be any performance or market place we are for their actions and statements damage they continue to post. We will be very clear on what we prosecute anyone and everyone who harm our reputation by lies and wrong information. You can post we will fight fire with fire and they love it. To say there is no EPA 800cc, we have one and we have many more, but we will not publish our documents for anyone to see. EPA Call John Croy I encourage you to request that the member who has a new buggy sand devil in Phoenix can come to my new office and I will and testament to our veiw all the certificates and then can the display on buggynews for all to see how a wind bag hot these two guys are. "
Is this the way a distributor environmentally friendly motor responds to requests from CARB certification? Apparently, Mr. Burns feels like he can not simply close the community buggy and trample the First Amendment at will. If he took the time to read carefully the terms published by the Administrator BuggyNews, it is painfully clear that all the information is not availble yet, and that requests were made from the EPA and CARB officials to help to draw definitive conclusions about the legal status of their products in California. Maybe Mr. Burns should be more concerned to provide evidence of the administration BuggyNew so they can put this issue to rest properly, instead of spreading in the weakly bound legal threats. Would you like a little toilet paper to go with that?
