Can laser eye surgery correct myopia aka near-sightedness?
Is laser eye surgery last forever?
What if you have big holes in the retina of myopia?
Laser eye surgery can improve my myopia?
Can we have this kind of myopic laser surgery?
Is there a risk for blindness from laser eye surgery?
If you become blind to the laser eye surgery, it is true that it can be corrected?

Since others have already answered your question, I just want to point out that there are eye exercises as an alternative that can help correct nearsightedness. I have a friend who used to suffer from myopia and he managed to improve his sight completely with eye exercises.

If you decide to make a laser eye surgery there is a clinic in London which is one of the best. Their physicians are more experienced in the country then you should have no problem.

I had the old radial ketromy done twice, 20/20 first time took about 4 years and then again and lasted about 2 years, now I'm back to glasses, but I suffer from all the driving night, scatters light in opposite directions in all the scars, cannot see clearly then, and I also ghosting vision, perhaps this laser technology is much better than last years average.

Peace and blessings,

I do not know. You can find it on the web or you can simply call an eye specialist and he can answer all these questions.

Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The prices for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, LASIK, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about themselves in newspapers and magazines, on their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canada, United Kingdom and other international patients who are considering surgery abroad for low cost, dental care and surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can Checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of health care available in India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA / UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

I had done three days ago - amazing! After being short-sighted (myopia) almost all my life is really changing lives.

There are risks involved, of course - they make you watch a video describing these advances. The risks are minimal if. I would get evaluated - this is normally free - your optician can arrange. They will be able to discuss the health of your cornea, see if you are a candidate, and answer all your questions. If your prescription eye has not changed for several years (mine had stabilized.
