How can you improve gas mileage on a moped? I would like to improve gas mileage on a MC-DO3B TAHITI 150cc moped. He can go about 60 mph + and delivers up to 80mpg but I would if I could improve fuel economy even more. Advice on optimization of new parts, or anything else I can do to increase mpg on my scooter. Thank you for your help
Hill descent with the wind on your weight back and cowardly!
I use a fuel processor that works very well, I gained an average of 3-4 miles per gallon in city and highway
I found vitrafuels.com Flag
In fact, if you're down with the wind at your back, the weight would be a better idea.
But seriously, a good drive belt tight and heavy rollers in your drive go a loooong way. heavyweights higher than average speed and poor acceleration of the line. Report Abuse
Oh, and yaehoo below who said not to drive is a high consumption of gasoline does not quite get the mileage. Of course, it's a joke, but 0 0 gallons per mile is not good. Saves money well. Report Abuse
Do not use it. It already gets great mileage.
hmm ... I do not much about it .. but you can clean the tank completely This should give you more miles or get a different engine
Not that you can do.
You can try a kind of shell (egg shaped) to improve aerodynamics, but then you look like a dork.
Good Luck.
You're joking, right?, Magz, have you changed your name again and buy a bigger bike?
Get a product called "Sea Foam" and pour into your fuel tank. It will clean the carb and rotate gently. When functioning optimally, your best bet for improving fuel economy (and performance) would be the loss of weight.
Hmmm More pedal less vroom?
Fill it with clean gas well, the push toward your destination by hand or petals and verification, and fill the tank. You should get great gas mileage this way.
Plan B: auto-stop and wait for a truck that the load and take you to your destination. Then check the fuel level. You get great gas mileage.
Change the fuel line to a smaller diameter to gas just to get into the carb, Keep your tires properly inflated, and stop the engine every time you're idling.
Wear layers of clothing to reduce the drag of wind
Always ride in a race pooled to reduce wind drag
Stop the engine down hill
Slim
pieces of tape on the bike you do not need.
Clean the air filter
Buy an O-ring chain not to reduce the rotating mass
If it's old new wheel bearings
Accelerate slowly.
80mpg and your complaint.
