motorcycle tires.? 1. What are your views and experiences on the use of tires on a motorcycle remodel.
2. Views and experiences on mixing tires on a motorcycle.
I have a srad600 and I have a Dunlop front and rear a remodel and I have not noticed any side effects.
Do not listen to bullshit about "I will never use again molds because ..." They are sure that you want. The only problems you have with them is that each pair will be slightly different feel and they wear faster. I ran with reform (I suppose we are talking Tomahawk) and those were my only problems. On the road, they will be fine. People who tell you not to use do not give reasons why not (they de-laminate or skip).
As for mounting tires. Not ideal, but if you take it easy at first, and if they feel very well - they probably mix well.
It's funny, if you go into a paddock racing club go to see people running with tires random part owned - and then fit the wheels of their bikes. Especially those on highways bimbling who feel the need to have the best rubber on the market
its already a dangerous job, I would never bike remolds who do not care how good they are
reform are usually well on a vehicle. you may have to change a little more often. but with them being less expensive that it will do no more expensive than buying tires properly. just make sure they are done correctly.
Well my experience with retreaded tires (on cars and trucks) are mixed, if they have a high quality work, so there is no reason why it gives better performance.
For me, I used retreads my cars and trucks. But it does not fall into a burst. Yes, I'm the kind of guy who checks his tires every time I get on a bike. Now if I had to use a tire retread it would be on his back. I had some tires apartments and found it was easier to drive when he was a rear tire instead of forward. Fortunately, they do not blow only one flight down, and I could tell something was wrong before they are totally flat.
Now, if you can get quality retreads tired, no dressings (in U.S. truck engines use a lot of retreads, and some companies do a poor job of recapping so that the tread can take off and groaned up on the side of the path of nature as a bandage on a finger to come) from a company you know and trust, so you should not be a problem. Just check them every time you ride.
Your life is worth the risk not to spend a few dollars more, the enemy just security.
the big differnce is running off-road and off Tyers Rood Roed give more trackson on soft ground on the road which give good trackson saeled on the roads and could you start or you drive Onwordi
talkto your bike dealer
I agree with the other response that you had. I am a biker with 12 years experiance riding 600. Please do not use any type of reform. front or rear. always make good use of new tires on the bikes. it is not worth the cutting angle or the option of saving money on the reform. I also drive a car. I mold and not use them on reform either. Let me ask you somthing. Have you ever driven down motor ways and see pieces of tires on the roads. him, you can answer yes to this question. and they are molded tires again. please do not use them. you have a nice bike powerful. DONT kill yourself on this becoz of reform. keep the front tire. but next time you get rid of the bike with remodeling. can we change it to a quality tire new god. do not let a cyclist killed others becoz of bad tires. have friends riding. Please take this advice.
No remodel will never get anywhere near my Bandit 1200. Ideally, a front and rear tires must be matched by the tire manufacturer's recommendations. Your redesign might be based on a CARC Dunlop.
