There is noise down as a bad bearing, other than replacing another used 1999 Polaris XC 700, what can I use?

You can use any engine with two cylinders polaris of 96-01, as long as the mountains primary and secondary line up clutch and the engine shouldn't be the same, fuel and electrical systems need modification. In my opinion, if you are looking for a quick solution cheaper, buy a motor remand Polaris. Or the obvious and get your engine rebuilt.
