R6 For Sale

I'm looking for a r6 for sale on Craigslist. He is a 2000. It has 24,000 miles and seems to be in good shape required by the landlord in 2800. this is my first bike, yes I know it's a 600 and is very quick to my knowledge, but I will not settle for less. So my question is: is this a good buy or should I keep my money and wait for something a little nicer and newer?

I do not want. I would like to find a 2003 or newer fuel injected thats. Carb maintenance is under-estimated fuel injection is more effective and maintenance free. The age of fuel injection has exceeded sportbikes carbed. Getting something later, you will not regret it.
