If they find the bike, they have the right to take, so if you come home one day and there is no do not be surprised. If they can not find the vehicle and it goes past a certain time the courts will not even mess with it. Recovery is a legal document, and lock in hiding an object is to deprive the rightful owner (the repossessor) of its legal ownership.

Do not go to jail - it's something that will be in your file (the flight), the rest of your life.

A couple of things can happen. One, the owner may be presented with a warrant for hindering a secured creditor. If it is discovered that you were helping to hide the vehicle knowingly, you too will be charged. Man, I'd give four wheels or you may be able to conclude arrangements with the creditor to take over payments. Hope this helps.
