Snowmobile Exhaust Systems

I live along a busy street and I'm about to go postal on inconsiderate jerks to escape noisy. I'm serious! Why nothing is done anywhere on this problem? No matter where I go there a moron with a 4x4 truck, piece of shit Street Racer or a bike that was clearly illegal exhaust system. Even snowmobiles decibel restrictions. I can not be the only person who is sick of all the unnecessary noise or am I?

In fact, I normally like the sound of a rumbling, well-built hot-rod engine. But to be sure, sometimes, the racket can be annoying ... especially when the machine making the noise is not really intended to be taken so much.
