Trailers For Sell

I live in a busy street and I thought it would be easy to sell utility trailers that I want to do (buy the frame and building the rest from scratch). How are they difficult to do? What basic 1,500 pounds. ability to sell trailers? A website I found the part sells for $ 215 - $ 250 depending on the quantity ordered. So .... What do you think? buy them for $ 250, put another $ 150 in (or more?) and sell to, like, $ 750 - $ 900? Is it too much? About right? Your thoughts please ... thank you!

Are you a certified welder? Can you provide liability insurance in case something breaks on one of your units? Too much can go wrong with your idea.

I agree with the other answer-ers. Dealing with the standards of the Department of Transportation and Department of Transportation is a huge pain. Also, you must consider the cost of everything you'll need, such as axles, hubs, springs, wheels, tires, wiring etc.
